A $650 bronze horse statue that was stolen from an Alpine yard was reunited with its owner Saturday.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said the statue, known as ”Daisy,” was found around 9 a.m. on a dirt road located near the 700 block of South Glen Oaks Drive.

According to department spokesperson Jan Caldwell, ”Daisy” was returned to her owners with a few dents but no significant damage. It was dusted for prints as the culprit(s) remain unknown.

The 30-pound statue was stolen on Aug. 8.
