Surveillance photos and video were made public Wednesday in an effort to identify a man who smashed the glass front door of the San Diego Police Department’s Mira Mesa storefront and the windshields of two patrol cars.

The suspect threw a brick through the glass door to the storefront at 8450 Mira Mesa Blvd. and the windshields of two parked cars driven by retired senior volunteers around 9:15 p.m. on June 7, according to San Diego Police and Crime Stoppers.

Damage to the door and the cruisers was estimated at about $1,100.
