A motorcyclist suffered a broken leg Thursday in a crash with a pickup truck in the North Park section of San Diego, police said.
A 43-year-old man driving a pickup truck north in the 3800 block of Boundary Street about 3:15 p.m. was attempting to make a left turn into a driveway when a southbound bus stopped to leave room for the man to make the turn, said San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
“The truck made the left turn as a motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old male rode along the right side of the bus,” Heims said. “The motorcycle drove in front of the truck and was hit.”
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, Heims said.
