The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Monday for the 12th consecutive day, decreasing five-tenths of a cent to $3.956, its lowest amount since Sept. 27.
The average price has dropped 10.2 cents over the past 12 days, including 1.5 cents on Saturday and nine-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It is 7.2 cents less than one week ago and 18.6 cents less than one month ago, but 31.4 cents more than one year ago.
