The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped nine-tenths of a cent Saturday to $3.98, the lowest amount since April 11.
The average price has fallen 18 times in the last 19 days, dropping a total of 12 cents, including a half-cent Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It is 4.2 cents less than one week ago and 8.3 cents lower than one month ago, but 22.2 cents more than one year ago.
