The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was unchanged Saturday at $3.394, ending a streak of 39th consecutive decreases.

The average price had dropped 51 times in the past 52 days, decreasing 44.4 cents, including 1.3 cents on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

It is 6.1 cents less than one week ago and 27.3 cents lower than one month ago, but 28.9 cents more than one year ago. It has risen 27.2 cents since the start of the year.

The average price dropped 12 consecutive days, rose two-tenths of a cent on Nov. 5, then resumed decreasing Nov. 6.
