The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was unchanged Sunday at $2.992, one day increasing four-tenths of a cent.
The average price is nine-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 9.2 cents higher than a month ago and 28.1 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
Motorists might see additional price increases because of the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey to refineries in East Texas, but the effect is not expected to be major in Southern California.
