The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Friday for the 21st consecutive day, decreasing 1.1 cents to $2.939, its lowest amount since Feb. 14.
The average price has dropped 10.4 cents over the past 21 days, including a half-cent on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 3.5 cents less than a week ago and 8.7 cents lower than one month ago, but 3.8 cents higher than one year ago and 13.4 cents more than what it was on Jan. 1.
