The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Friday for the 17th consecutive day, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $2.736.
The average price has dropped 13.6 cents over the past 17 days, including nine-tenths of a cent on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 5.6 cents less than one week ago, 7.8 cents lower than one week ago and 2.6 cents below what it was one year ago.
