The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was at its lowest amount for a Labor Day since 2004 Monday, $2.719.
The average price was unchanged Monday, one day after dropping one-tenth of a cent, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 1.1 cents more than one week ago but 1 cent less than one month ago and 69.9 cents less than one year ago.
The average price has risen 15 of the past 20 days, increasing 5.5 cents.
