It’s the right time to fill up your gas tank since the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline dropped for the 17th time in 18 days on Sunday.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County has decreased two-tenths of a cent to $2.846.
The cost has dropped 9.4 cents over the past 18 days, including nine tenths of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It’s 4.5 cents less than a week ago, 6.8 cents lower than one month ago and $1.294 below what it was one year ago.
Gas prices have dropped for 10 consecutive days. The costs were unchanged last Sunday, before resuming their decline on Monday.
