The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Sunday for the seventh time in eight days, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $2.927.
The average price has dropped 1.9 cents over the past eight days, including two-tenths of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The decreases began last Sunday, one day after the average price rose to its highest amount since Jan. 15.
The average price is 1.8 cents less than one week ago and 65.6 cents lower than one year ago but 6.5 cents more than one month ago.
