Dense fog along the San Diego County coastline may affect motorists during Monday morning’s commute.
A National Weather Service dense fog advisory is set to remain in effect until 9 a.m. Forecasters said the fog would mostly blanket the coast, but could waft into inland areas and the mesas.
“The fog will persist through rush hour before dissipating later this morning,” according to the weather service.
Visibility could drop to a quarter mile or less at times in foggy conditions. Forecasters advised motorists to slow down, use their low beams and leave plenty of distance between their vehicles and others on the road.
