The Oceanside Public Library’s Civic Center branch reopened to the public Tuesday after a nearly two-month closure for renovations.
The upgrades included new carpeting and shelves, along with some needed maintenance.
The reopened library features a new layout aimed at improving browsing for patrons, a new upstairs reading area and an expanded space for teens.
Workers will complete some finishing touches over the next few weeks, and a reopening event will be held sometime next month, according to city officials.
