Two people killed in a car crash in Chula Vista on Friday have been identified, the San Diego County Medical Examiner said Saturday.
Bryan Coronado Carranza, 28, and his cousin 26-year-old Kyle Joseph Carranza, both of Chula Vista, were found dead in a damaged BMW that crashed near the 30 block of Telegraph Canyon Road about 2:20 a.m.
Kyle Carranza lost control of the car as it sped westbound, striking the curb and rolling over as it hit tree and metal posts before coming to rest upright, authorities said.
