To celebrate its 25th anniversary, a Hillcrest salon is giving back.
Gila Rut Salon will offer 25 makeovers to the girls and their families of Ronald McDonald House on July 24.
In addition the makeovers, the salon will also be offering select services for a $10 or $20 donation to the charity on July 24.
The salon was founded in 1992 by mother-daughter team Keri Davis Duffy and Carol Davis. After opening in Hillcrest, the duo opened two other locations in San Diego County.
The salon is located at 1010 University Avenue.
